These are pictures of the pet store kitties I’ve taken over the past few weeks. I don’t know why it’s such an issue for me to get my butt in gear and post them, it just is!

This is Soldier. I think Soldier has actually been adopted (I don’t remember seeing him there on Thursday), but I got some good pictures of him, so I’m sharing them! Soldier is a sweet, friendly boy who loves to be petted and (as you can see!) is very playful. He reminds me a LOT of our Miss Momma.

This is Rowdy. He’s a great big sweet tomcat. You can’t tell from the pictures, but he has a cute little stump of a tail. He likes to play - a LOT - and he gets along well with other cats (as long as they submit to him immediately). Also, he’s deaf. What a sweetheart.

This is Phantom. She is such a sweet girl, an instant lovebug. She was adopted and then returned 4 months later because, according to her owner, they’d gotten a new hall tree, and Phantom liked to get on top of it. ::sigh:: She apparently likes to climb things (so strange for a cat, no? Um, NO.), but she’s a sweet, sweet girl. She reminds me a LOT of my sister’s cat, Punki.

Neita is such a cute little thing. She’s all fluff, so underneath, she’s a tiny cat. She’s got super-long hair, but she doesn’t mind being brushed, is very sweet and patient when you get out the brush. She’s an observer and likes to sit and watch the other cats (as long as they don’t get too close!) before she starts playing and trying to make friends.

Rowdy and LionLion greet each other, and the world explodes in an overdose of orange cuteness.

Lion Lion is a great big sweetheart. He’ll follow you around and talk to you and wait patiently to be petted. He likes other cats and is a very playful, sweet boy.

Jimmy Neutron. Isn’t he GORGEOUS? He’s been adopted, so don’t get attached. He was (if I recall correctly) part of a group of cats living at a local business. The employees were feeding them, and then management declared they could no longer feed the cats on the business property, so an employee who’d gotten attached to him snatched up Jimmy and took him to the shelter. Poor Jimmy didn’t even know what a toy was for, but he caught on quickly!

Eragon has got these huge eyes that, I swear to god, can see right into your soul. He’s the quietest cat I’ve ever seen, and he likes to watch everything that’s going on. (He also loves to drink water directly from the faucet.) He’s a sweet boy who likes to be petted. His story is that he was found by the side of a road in a pet carrier - at the end of May - and the person who stopped to investigate said the carrier was almost too hot to pick up. Grrrrr.

This is Blythe. She’s a tiny little cutie pie who loves to be petted and to talk to you. She’s playful, but she gets a bit hissy with the other cats; I’m sure given enough time she’d adjust just fine. She was found pregnant and had two kittens; she’s about a year old. Is she adorable, or what?
